Krishna Machine Tools

Krishna Machine Tools is tucked away at number 4 on 13th Cross. We’re part of the Raghavendra Industrial Estate, which is right off Thigalarapalya Main Road. If you know where Peenya 2nd Stage is, we’re just around the corner from there. It’s a very industrial part of the city, so there’s always the sound of metal and engines in the background. Our shop is one of many in this row. We’ve got a tight space but we make it work by keeping everything in its place. The guys who work here have been around for a long time and they know these machines inside out. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture or air conditioning in the back, we just have what we need to get the parts made. Most of our days are spent checking measurements and making sure the tools are sharp. It gets dusty, and on Saturdays we usually spend some time cleaning up the scrap. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop on the block, we just want to make sure the work we do is solid. Sometimes a customer will drop by for a chat while we’re working. We don't mind. It’s good to have a bit of human connection while you're grinding away at a task. That's how we’ve always done things here in Peenya.
