Our place at Kraft Sales & Services is tucked away on the 4th Cross of Lalbagh Road. Being at 199/200 means we have a decent amount of room, but it always feels cramped once the stock arrives. Lalbagh Road is always jammed with cars and bikes, especially in the mornings. I usually get in before the sun gets too hot. We deal with various parts and equipment here. It's mostly just phone calls and paperwork during the day. Sometimes a truck struggles to turn into the cross, which causes a bit of a mess with the neighbors. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. The walls could use some fresh paint, but there's never a good time to stop and do it. We have a small desk near the front where we handle most things. It’s not a quiet office. You can hear the city outside all the time. Most of our regulars know the shortcut to get here without getting stuck in the main traffic. We drink a lot of coffee while waiting for deliveries. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit outside for a bit. It’s just a regular workday for us. We handle the sales and the servicing parts without making a big fuss about it. We just keep the records in the old filing cabinets. It works for us. The ceiling fan wobbles a bit but it keeps us cool enough most of the time. Yesterday it was really hot and we struggled.
