Our shop is at 16J in the Attibele Industrial Area. If you have ever been out this way, you know it is quite a drive from the main city. We are surrounded by other industrial units and the air usually smells like oil and metal. We work with precision tools, so while the outside might look a bit rough, we try to keep the inside as orderly as possible. The benches are covered in tools and parts, and there is always a layer of fine dust on everything. It’s a functional space, nothing more. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone wearing suits. Most of us are in work clothes all day, dealing with the machines and the technical drawings. The commute out to Attibele can be a grind, especially with the traffic on the highway, but once we get inside, we just focus on the tasks at hand. We have been here for a good while and have seen the area grow and change. The building isn't new, but it's sturdy. We spend our days measuring things and making sure the specs are met. It’s quiet work in a way, despite the hum of the machines. We take our breaks outside when it’s not too hot. It is just a regular industrial job for us. We do our work, pack things up, and head home to do it again the next day.
