K.L.E.S S. Nijalingappa College

Our department is over in the 2nd Block of Rajajinagar. We’re part of K.L.E.S S. Nijalingappa College, specifically focusing on hotel management. The campus is usually full of students moving between classes. Inside our block, it’s mostly about the practical stuff. We have kitchens and mock rooms where students spend their time. It’s not always perfectly clean because people are constantly practicing their cooking or cleaning skills. We’ve got a lot of old equipment that still works fine, and we use it every single day. The teachers here don’t just stand and talk; they’re usually right there in the middle of the mess with the students. Rajajinagar is a busy neighborhood, so there’s always noise from the street coming through the windows. We like being here because it feels like a real community. The students come from all over, and they bring a lot of energy to the place. We don’t have fancy lounges or high-tech gadgets everywhere. It’s a simple setup meant for learning the basics of the trade. Sometimes the ovens act up or we run out of ingredients, and we just deal with it. It’s about teaching the students how to handle those real-life situations. We keep things grounded and practical. It’s a good place to spend the day if you don’t mind a bit of hard work and the smell of food in the hallways. We've been doing this for a long time and still enjoy it.
