Kiran Display Systems

Our workshop is at No.12 in the M Narayana Reddy Industrial Estate. It’s on Old Madras Road, right across from the TTK factory in Dooravaninagar. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always the sound of trucks and machinery nearby. We’ve got a lot of metal and parts sitting around because that’s what we work with every day. It’s a bit of a gritty place, with grease on the floors and the smell of welding or cutting in the air. We don't have a showroom with bright lights; if you want to see what we make, you just come into the back where the work is happening. We focus on putting display systems together that actually hold up. It’s hard work and our hands usually stay dirty until the end of the shift. Dooravaninagar is a busy hub, and being near the main road helps with getting stuff in and out. We aren't big on talk or fancy brochures. We just show up, look at the specs, and start putting things together. Some days the heat in the shed gets pretty bad, but we just open the big doors and keep going. We’ve been in this estate for a long time and we know the other guys working the lathes and presses around here. It’s just a regular industrial life, nothing fancy or complicated. We just do the work and then go home like everyone else in the estate.
