Kems Forgings Limited

Kems Forgings Limited is located out in Electronic City, on 80 Feet Road near KHB Colony 8. This is an industrial area, so everything around us is pretty large-scale and loud. We have a big facility where the actual forging happens, and it gets very hot near the machines. You can feel the vibrations in the floor when the heavy equipment is running. Most of the staff here wear heavy boots and work gear because it’s a tough environment. The office part is separate but still gets a lot of the noise from the factory floor. We deal with a lot of metal parts and industrial orders, so there are always blueprints and technical specs lying around. The 80 Feet Road is always full of trucks and buses carrying workers to the different companies in Electronic City. KHB Colony is nearby, so some people walk to work, but most commute from further away. It’s a place where things are made, so there isn’t much room for fluff or decoration. Everything is built for function. We have a small canteen where we eat lunch, and it’s usually a quick affair before getting back to the shift. The work is repetitive but it requires a lot of attention to make sure everything is forged correctly. By the time the shift ends, everyone is pretty tired and ready to get away from the heat and the noise of the machines.
