Kay Vee Rubber Products

We are located at B-216 on the 5th Main in Peenya Industrial Estate. If you know Peenya, you know how busy and dusty it can get with all the factories around. Kay Vee Rubber Products has been in this portion for a good while. It's a big industrial area, and sometimes the traffic on the main road is just terrible, especially when the big lorries are moving. Inside our unit, it's mostly the smell of rubber and the sound of the presses going. We don’t have air conditioning or anything like that, just some big fans that move the hot air around. We mostly stay busy with the production side of things. It’s a lot of manual work, checking the molds and making sure the batches come out okay. We have a small desk near the front where we handle the paperwork, but nobody really sits there for long. There’s always something that needs fixing or moving. The tea guy comes around twice a day, which is the highlight for most of us. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just trying to do a solid job here in Peenya. The building is older, and the floor has some cracks, but it works for what we do. We just keep our heads down and get the rubber products ready for whoever needs them next. It’s hard work, but it keeps us going.
