Karnataka State Finance Corporation

Jayanagar is a busy place and we’re over in the J N r Shopping Complex. It’s an older building but it works just fine for what we do here at the Karnataka State Finance Corporation. Mostly we deal with all kinds of financial paperwork for folks around the state. It gets really crowded on Monday mornings and there is usually a lot of noise from the hallway. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the files just pile up on the desks. It's just a regular office setup with no fancy frills. You know how it is with government-related finance work. People come in all day asking about different loans and schemes. We just sit at our desks and try to get through the queue as fast as we can. The complex is pretty easy to find if you know the Jayanagar area well. Sometimes the lift acts up so some of us just end up taking the stairs instead. It keeps us moving at least. We've been in this same spot for a good while now and it feels like home to most of the staff. We don’t have any fancy coffee machines or lounge areas, just a water cooler and some plastic chairs for people to wait in. Sometimes it gets a bit loud from the shops downstairs but that’s just part of being in a shopping complex. We’re just here doing our jobs day in and day out.
