Kanrad Houseware Pvt Ltd is located in the Bommasandra Industrial Area at Ellorapark 46. Our building is basically a large warehouse and production space where we handle all sorts of household items. If you walked in, you’d see rows of shelves filled with stuff for kitchens and homes. It’s a bit of a drive out here, but it’s where all the space is for storing big batches of goods. We spend a lot of time on our feet, moving boxes and checking the quality of what comes off the line. It's hard work and the warehouse can get quite hot in the summer months. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that; it’s mostly just us managing the logistics and making sure the retailers get what they ordered. Sometimes the machines act up or a delivery is late, and we have to scramble to fix it. We have a small group of workers from the local area who have been with us for a long time. We mostly focus on making sure the products are sturdy and ready for use. It’s a very practical business. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations for the office because we're usually out on the floor. It’s just a regular industrial setup where we keep things moving as best as we can every day. We usually keep some cold water in the fridge for the guys loading the trucks after their shifts.
