Kanchan

Kanchan is our little place on Hospital Road right in the middle of Shivaji Nagar. Bangalore is a big city but this corner near the bus stand is always crowded. We are right opposite the Shivaji Nagar bus stand which makes it easy to find if you are taking the bus. 560001 is where we are. Being on Hospital Road means there are always people walking by, some in a hurry and some just looking around. We see a lot of commuters every single day. It’s a busy spot and we like it that way even if it gets dusty sometimes. We’ve been here for a good while. The shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside but we have what people need. Dealing with the traffic and the noise from the buses is just part of our daily life here at Kanchan. We don't really do much advertising because people just see us when they get off their ride. It's a practical location for a business. Sometimes the rain makes the street a bit messy but we keep our entrance clear. We open up early because the bus stand gets busy right from the morning. It's just us working here, trying to get through the day and serving whoever stops by. If you’re in Shivaji Nagar, you’ll likely pass us. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us handling everything from opening the shutters to locking up at night. It's a long day but we are used to the rhythm of the city.
