Kamath Transformers Pvt Ltd is located in the Peenya industrial area. We are on the 3rd Cross of the 1st stage at A-155. If you have ever been to Peenya you know it is all about industry and big sheds. Our place is no different. It is a large space because the stuff we work on is heavy and takes up a lot of room. There is a lot of copper wire and big metal tanks sitting around the floor. It gets very hot in the afternoons under the metal roof but we have some big fans to help move the air. The work is physical and we have to be careful moving things around with the cranes. A-155 is a busy spot and we often have trucks waiting in the cross to pick up or drop off equipment. We have a small office section but most of the action happens out on the shop floor. We've been in Peenya for years and we are used to the grit and the constant noise of the neighboring factories. We take our lunch breaks together in a small corner of the building. It is not a glamorous job but transformers are important and we take the work seriously. The floor is stained with oil and there are heavy cables everywhere you look. That is just how a place like this is supposed to be.
