Kalyani Lorry Services is situated down near Electronic City, at Chikkathogur Cross. Our office is in the Govindappa Building, which is part of the Singasandra Post area. We are at number 6. Being on this side of town means we deal with a lot of the industrial traffic. We’ve been running lorries for a good while now. It started small and we’ve just kept at it. The office isn't anything special to look at. It’s just a place where we keep the keys and the records. We spend most of our time out near the trucks or on the phone with customers. It’s a lot of long hours. The traffic near Chikkathogur Cross can be quite a challenge, especially with all the big vehicles moving around. We don't have a big mission statement or a fancy logo. We just provide lorries when people need to move heavy loads. The drivers we work with are hardworking people who spend a lot of time away from home on the road. We try to keep things running smoothly from the Govindappa Building. It’s a lot of coordinating schedules and making sure the lorries are in good shape for the next trip. It’s a simple, honest way to work. We’ve been in this spot for years and the locals know us. We don’t go in for much promotion. If someone needs a lorry, they usually just find us by word of mouth or see our trucks out on the road.
