K Mani Old News Paper

My name is K Mani and I’ve been handling old newspapers and scrap here at 41 B S K 2nd Stage for a long time. People around the neighborhood know the spot. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that, just a place where we stack things up and sort through what comes in. B S K 2nd Stage is a good area, lots of homes, so there is always someone looking to clear out their old papers or magazines. I started this because it was something I could do on my own. The space is often full of bundles tied with twine, and it can get a bit dusty if we don't clear things out quickly enough. I usually open up early in the morning and stay until the sun goes down. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to chat for a minute while they drop off their stacks. I don't use any big machines or anything, just my hands and a basic weighing scale that’s seen better days but still works just fine. It’s hard work, moving all that weight around, but it keeps me busy. The address is easy to find once you are in the 2nd stage. I don't have a website or anything like that, just this physical spot where I sit and wait for the next load. It’s a simple life and it works for me. I’ve seen this area change a lot over the years, but I’m still here at number 41.
