J.P. Hospital

J.P. Hospital is located on B. H. Road in Nelmangala. It’s a bit of a mouthful when you say the whole address with Nelamangala repeated like that, but that is just how the records have it. We are right there where the traffic flows through towards Bangalore. It’s a noisy road, honestly. There is always a truck or a bus rumbling past outside. The hospital building has a few floors. We spend a lot of time walking up and down the stairs because the elevator is sometimes a bit slow. We have a lot of patients who come in from the surrounding villages and some from the main parts of Nelamangala too. The waiting area has those plastic chairs that aren't the most comfortable, but they are easy to clean. We don't have any big mission statements on the walls or anything like that. We just have the signs telling people where to go. The doctors are usually busy and the nurses are always running around with charts. It feels like a very practical place. We don't try to look like a hotel. It’s a hospital on a busy road. We deal with the dust from the highway and the heat in the afternoons. It’s just regular work for us. Most people find us because they saw the sign while driving on B. H. Road. We’ve been part of the Nelmangala landscape for a good while now.
