Johns Hospital

Johns Hospital is tucked away in Bharathy Layout. Specifically, we are at 37/12 on the 6th Cross. It is a bit of a residential area, so it feels a little more relaxed than the hospitals right on the main highways. The layout of the building is a bit traditional. We have some stairs and a few small rooms that we’ve converted over the years to fit more equipment. It’s a local spot where people from the neighborhood can just walk over if they aren't feeling well. We know a lot of the families around Bharathy Layout because they’ve been coming to us for a long time. The 6th Cross isn't too wide, so parking can be a bit of a headache if you have a big car. Most people just park a bit further down. Inside, it smells like floor cleaner and sometimes coffee from the breakroom. We have a few benches outside where people sit when the weather is nice. We don’t have a giant neon sign or a big marketing budget. We just have our names on the door and our desks inside. The staff is mostly busy with filing or talking to patients. It’s not a corporate environment at all. It’s just a neighborhood hospital that does its best with the space we have. Sometimes the power flickers but we have the backup ready to go. We just try to keep things simple and honest.
