Our location is at Sp 171 on the 30th Cross of the Ambedkar Industrial Estate. This is out in Jigani, which is part of the Anekal Taluk. Since it is an industrial estate, the whole area is filled with factories and warehouses. It is a very different vibe from the city center. There are always big trucks moving on the 30th Cross, and the air is often filled with the sound of machinery. Our building is a simple, sturdy structure that gives us enough room to handle our export business. It is mostly a warehouse space with a small corner set aside for our office work. We spend our days tracking shipments and making sure everything is loaded correctly. It’s hard work and it can get quite hot in the warehouse during the summer months. We have a few fans, but they only do so much. The area around Sp 171 is mostly concrete and dirt, so it’s not exactly a scenic location, but it is perfect for what we need to do. We usually have our lunch at one of the small stalls nearby that serve the workers in the estate. It is a long commute for some of us, but this is where the business belongs. We have been here for a while and we know the rhythms of the industrial estate well.
