Jayashree Bearing Company is located at 4 Silver Jubilee Park Road. Most people around here just call it S J P Road. We’re in the Vasanth Nagar area. It’s a pretty well-known street for mechanical stuff. Our shop is filled with bearings of all sizes. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the shelves and boxes stacked up. We’ve been operating from this spot for a long time. People come to us when they need a specific part for a machine or a vehicle. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s necessary for keeping things running. The street outside is usually packed with carts and delivery vans. It can get pretty noisy during the day with all the shouting and engines. We don't have a big corporate office. It’s just the shop floor and a small desk where we handle the bills. Everything is a bit oily sometimes, which is expected when you work with bearings every day. We know the other traders on Silver Jubilee Park Road quite well. We often help each other out if someone is short on stock for a customer. It’s an old-school way of doing business. We don't really do much advertising. People just know we are here at number 4. We start our day early to beat the heat of the afternoon. By the time the sun is up, we’re already moving boxes and checking orders. It’s a simple life. We just keep the bearings organized and help the customers who walk in. There’s always something to count or move.
