Jaihind Academy Of Education

Our place, Jaihind Academy Of Education, is at No.23 on the 11th Cross in the Pipe Line area of Vijayanagar. We are situated very close to Tejas Nursing Home, which is how most people find their way to us. The 11th Cross is a bit narrow, so it’s usually better to walk or bring a cycle than to try and park a big car. We have a simple setup inside with a few classrooms that are quite basic. We have rows of desks and a small area for us to sit and do our paperwork. The walls are mostly bare, except for a few schedules pinned up with tape. It’s a quiet part of the neighborhood, except for the occasional ambulance going towards the nursing home. We start our day by making sure the rooms are swept and the markers are ready. We get students coming in for various subjects throughout the week. It’s a very normal, everyday kind of place. We don't have any air conditioning, just the ceiling fans that hum all day. The students who come here are usually from the local Vijayanagar streets. They bring their own snacks and water, and we spend a couple of hours going over their lessons. It’s a steady routine that hasn't changed much over the years. We just try to provide a decent space where someone can sit and learn without any fuss or unnecessary noise.
