Jai Engg Works

We are tucked away in C-87 Ramachandrapuram, right near the Vivanta Taj Hotel and the ITPB area. It is a bit of a contrast, having a place like Jai Engg Works so close to those big fancy buildings. We do a lot of traditional engineering and fabrication work here. Our workshop is full of lathes, welding equipment, and bits of steel waiting to be used. It’s a noisy place, and we are usually covered in some amount of dust or grease by the end of the shift. We get a lot of walk-in business from local contractors and people who need something custom-made from metal. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find people in suits. We wear heavy boots and work clothes because that’s what the job requires. Being so close to ITPB means the traffic around us can get really crazy, especially in the evenings when everyone is leaving the tech parks. We’ve been operating out of this spot for years, and we’ve seen the whole area change around us. Despite all the new buildings, we just keep doing our metal work the same way we always have. We take our work seriously, even if the workshop looks a bit cluttered to an outsider. We focus on getting the measurements right and making sure the welds hold up. It’s straightforward, honest work that keeps us going every day.
