Innisfree House School

We are tucked away on 23rd Main in J P Nagar II Phase. If you find 9th Cross, you will find our gate. Innisfree House School has been a part of this neighborhood for a long time. It started out small and stayed that way for a bit, but over the years, we have added more rooms as they were needed. It is a bit of a maze inside if you do not know your way around. The school doesn’t look like those new corporate schools you see on the outskirts of the city. It has a lived-in feel, with notice boards covered in old flyers and student drawings that have been there for months. We have a lot of plants around the entrance because some of the staff really enjoy gardening. The daily routine is pretty predictable. The bell rings, the kids run out for their break, and the teachers finally get a chance to sit down and have their lunch together. We do not have any big slogans about being the best. We just try to make sure the kids learn their subjects and do not get into too much trouble. Sometimes the roof leaks a little during the heavy monsoon rains, or we have to move classes because a room is being painted. It is just a normal school life. We know most of the people who walk past our gates, and that makes it feel like a real community.
