Indrajeet

We are located at 19/20 Race Course Road. The name on the sign just says Indrajeet. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always a lot of traffic passing by our front door. Inside, things are a bit more relaxed. We handle a variety of things here, mostly catering to the folks who work in the nearby offices or live in the surrounding blocks. It’s a family-run kind of setup, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the decades. I remember when there were fewer cars and more trees along the road. Now, it’s all hustle. We keep the shop clean but it definitely has that lived-in feel. There’s a specific smell of old paper and metal that never really goes away. We don’t spend money on fancy displays or bright lights. Most of our furniture is the same stuff we started with. People know us for being consistent. If we say we have something, we usually do. If we don’t, we’ll tell you straight out. It saves everyone time. Dealing with people face-to-face is the part I like most. It’s better than sitting behind a computer all day. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. That is how we’ve stayed in business this long. It's not a complicated philosophy, just being here every day and doing what is expected of us. Things just work better that way.
