Indiana Crockery

If you walk down M G Road, you’ll find us at No.97/1. We are right on the ground floor, so you don't have to go looking for stairs. Indiana Crockery has been sitting here for some time now. It’s a bit of a packed space because crockery takes up a lot of room. We have stacks of plates and cups everywhere. It’s not the most organized-looking shop, but we know where everything is. M G Road is always noisy, and we get a lot of people just walking past and peering in. We spend a lot of time unpacking boxes and making sure nothing got chipped. It’s a simple business. We open up, wipe down the shelves, and wait for whoever needs some new kitchen stuff or a gift. Sometimes the shop feels a bit small when we get a big shipment in, but we manage. Being on the ground floor makes it easier for people to just pop in and out. We don't really do much fancy talk here. We just show people what we have in stock and tell them the price. It’s a lot of bubble wrap and cardboard boxes most days. We like being in this part of town because there is always something going on outside the door. It’s just us and the dishes, day in and day out. It's a bit dusty sometimes but it's okay for what we do.
