We have been here on Bannerghatta Road for quite a while now. The campus is tucked away in Bilekkahalli, and if you know this part of Bangalore, you know how busy it gets outside the gates. Inside, it is a different story. We have these big stone buildings and lots of trees that make the place feel quiet, even when there are hundreds of students running around trying to get to their next class. People usually recognize us by the architecture, which stays cool even when the sun is out. It is not just about the classrooms though. We have offices, a library that stays open late, and paths where folks just walk and talk about their day. Being in this part of the city means we are close to everything, but once you step inside, the traffic noise fades out a bit. It is a large space to manage. Maintenance keeps us busy, especially with all the greenery we have to look after. Some days it feels like a small town on its own. We see people from all over coming here, and it is interesting to watch the rhythm of the place change between the morning rush and the quiet evenings. Sometimes the weather here in Bilekkahalli gets a bit unpredictable, so we are always checking the roofs or the drainage. It is a lot of work to keep a place this size running, but we just get on with it every day.
