India Automotive is located at No.21 on J C Road. Anyone who knows this area knows it’s the place to go for anything related to vehicles. The street is always packed with people looking for parts or getting things fixed. Our shop is right in the middle of that chaos. It’s a narrow building, like most on this road, but it goes back quite a way. We have stacks of parts reaching up to the ceiling in the back. It can be hard to find things sometimes, but we usually know where everything is tucked away. J C Road is loud, with horns honking and people shouting all day long. We keep the front shutters open to let some air in, though it brings in the exhaust fumes too. We’ve been at number 21 for a long time. The floor is stained with oil and grease, which you’d expect from an automotive place. There’s no air conditioning, just a few old ceiling fans that buzz while they spin. It gets pretty hot in the summer months. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just handle the people who walk in or call us on the landline. It’s a simple setup. We focus on the inventory and making sure we have what people are looking for. It’s a lot of manual work and we stay until the sun goes down. Most of the shops around here close at the same time.
