Ilight House Foundation

Ilight House Foundation is set up over on J M Road. To be more specific about it, we are in Halkeri Galli, right near the Jhanda Katta. If you have never been to this part of town, the lanes are quite narrow and it can be a bit of a maze for new people. We share the space with M M Chattaraki. It is an old-style building with thick walls that help keep things a bit cooler when the sun is really beating down outside. The neighborhood is very traditional, and you can always hear the sounds of the street vendors and neighbors talking throughout the day. Our office is just a simple room with some old furniture we have had for years. There is a ceiling fan that wobbles a little when it is on high, but it does the job. We do not have much in the way of high-tech stuff here. Just a couple of older computers and a printer that jams once in a while. Most of the time, we are just sitting here working through our lists and answering the phone. It is a quiet existence for the most part. We like being in this part of town because everything we need is within walking distance. The tea shop at the corner is where we usually take our short breaks. It is not a corporate environment at all. It is more like a home office that just grew a little.
