Being near Peenya Industrial Estate means it's always busy around here. Our shop is at 22 Viswaneedam, on the 14th Cross. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always trucks and noise. We do a lot of cleaning and finishing work here. The machines are big and they make a lot of noise. We usually have our sleeves rolled up. There’s a lot of grit and polish involved in what we do. The air usually smells a bit like metal and cleaning agents. It isn't a place for nice clothes. We’ve got a small crew. We mostly stick to ourselves and get the work done. The floor is concrete and shows the years of work we've put in. People find us because they need something shined up or finished properly. We don't have a receptionist. If you walk in, you'll likely find us right by the machines. The 14th Cross can be a bit tricky to find if you don't know the area well. We’ve been here long enough that the local tea stall knows our order by heart. It’s a lot of manual labor. Sometimes we stay late when a big load comes in. We don't mind the overtime. It's just the way it goes when you run a shop like this. We just focus on the parts on the bench. Nothing fancy about it. We are just trying to get the job done right before the weekend.
