You can find us at number 9/47 on the first floor in Ambalipura Village. We are right by the Bellandur Gate area, which anyone who lives in this part of Bangalore knows is a very busy spot. Being near the Big Bazaar on Sarjapur Road means there is always a lot of noise and movement outside our windows. To get to us, you have to head up to the first floor. The stairs are a bit narrow, but once you are up there, it’s a fairly quiet space compared to the street below. We have a simple desk and a few chairs for people to sit on while they wait. The walls are mostly plain, and we keep our supplies in a cabinet near the back. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the backup to kick in, which is just part of living in this neighborhood. We see a lot of people who are just passing through on their way to the shopping center or heading home toward the village area. The clinic isn't very large, but it serves the purpose for what we do every day. We usually have the door open to let some air in, though that also lets in the sound of the traffic from Sarjapur Road. It is just a basic, honest room where we spend our hours. Most of our day is just spent talking to people or writing down notes in our ledger books while the ceiling fan spins.
