Hmt Hospital

This hospital has been part of the Jalahalli landscape for a long time. We are situated right across from the Jalahalli Police Station, near the Hmt Post area. It’s a well-known spot for people living in this part of Bangalore. The building itself shows its age a bit, but it’s sturdy and serves the purpose. We have various departments here, covering the basics that a community needs. You’ll see people coming in for the pharmacy, the outpatient ward, or sometimes more serious stuff. Being near the police station means we are quite easy to give directions to. The atmosphere is different from those new private hospitals you see in the city center. It’s more of a local institution feel here. There’s a lot of greenery around Jalahalli which makes the air a bit better than the crowded parts of town. Our staff is used to the steady pace of the day. Some hours are very quiet, and then suddenly the lobby is full of families. We have the usual hospital smells and the sound of trolleys moving on the floors. It’s a practical place where we focus on getting people treated without any extra fuss. Most of our patients are from the Hmt quarters or nearby residential layouts. We've been here through many changes in the neighborhood and just keep doing what we do every day to keep things running.
