Hms Stores is over in Austin Town on Lindon Street, specifically at Y G Palyam number 6. It’s a simple spot where we sell general items that people need for their houses. We’ve been here for a while, and the building shows its age a little bit. Lindon Street isn't the widest road, so it’s mostly just local people from the neighborhood who stop by. We have some jars of sweets on the counter and the usual household supplies like cleaning stuff and snacks. The shop is quite small, so we have to be careful how we stack the crates. Usually, it’s quiet in the afternoons when the sun is out, then it picks up in the evening when people are coming home from work. We don't do anything fancy with the display. Things are just where they fit. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit there with a torch until it comes back. Austin Town has a certain feel to it, and we are just one part of that. We know the postman and the lady who sells flowers down the street. It’s a steady routine of opening up, dusting the shelves, and helping whoever walks through the door. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just know we are at number 6 if they need something quickly without going to the big supermarkets. It is just a small local shop for the daily necessities.
