Hitesh Foundation

Hitesh Foundation is located over at No.274 on Basavanapura Main Road. If you are familiar with Bangalore North, you know this stretch of road can get quite dusty with all the construction work going on lately. Our spot is right in the middle of all that noise and activity. It is a basic office where we spend our mornings and most of our afternoons. The 560036 area has changed quite a bit since we first started coming here to work. We have a few desks pushed together and some metal shelves that are usually overflowing with books and old papers. It is a bit of a tight squeeze when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work somehow. The windows look right out onto the main road, so we see the buses and bikes going past all day long. It is never really quiet here, but you get used to the city sounds after a week or two. We do not have any fancy coffee machines, just a local guy who brings tea in small glass cups around eleven o'clock. It is the kind of place where you can just walk in and see what is happening. There are no receptionists or waiting rooms with magazines. We just handle what needs to be done. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot of filing to catch up on, but we usually head home before the traffic gets crazy.
