If you head down to Jayanagar 9th Block, you’ll find us at No.1141, a building called Akshaya on the 26th Main Road. It’s a pretty decent area, much quieter than the center of the city. We work with motors here. The office is usually filled with the sound of someone testing a motor or clicking away at a keyboard. We have a lot of old manuals stacked up in the corner that we still use because the new stuff isn’t always better. The space is organized, mostly, but there’s always a pile of something that needs to be sorted. We don't have a big corporate culture or anything. We just show up, do the manufacturing work, and talk about the cricket scores during tea breaks. The windows look out onto the street, so we see the neighbors walking their dogs or kids coming home from school. It feels more like a house than a factory sometimes. We’ve got a small kitchen where we make coffee. Most of us have been working here for quite a while. We don't really do big marketing pushes or anything like that. We just focus on the motors and making sure the technical stuff is right. It’s a quiet, honest kind of life. We like being in Jayanagar. It’s a good spot for a business like ours where we need a bit of space and a bit of peace to get things right. Sometimes the tea runs out, which is our biggest crisis of the week.
