Hindustan Forgings

Our place is over in Peenya 11, right in the thick of things. Forging is heavy work, and we've been at it for a long time. It’s mostly about heat and hammers here. If you walk into our shop, the first thing you notice is the sound of the metal being shaped. It’s not a quiet place to work, that’s for sure. We spend most of our time around the furnaces, making sure things are at the right temperature. It’s a lot of physical labor, and the guys here are used to the sweat. We handle different types of metal pieces that go into bigger machines. People send us their requirements, and we get to work on the floor. Sometimes things don’t go perfectly on the first try, so we have to adjust and try again. That’s just the nature of working with hot steel. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to answer phones with a script. Usually, someone just wipes their hands and picks up if they hear it ringing over the machines. Peenya is a busy industrial area, so there’s always trucks moving around outside. We just keep our heads down and focus on the forging. It’s what we do day in and day out. We don’t put on airs. We just make sure the metal parts are ready when people need them. It is a loud environment, but we are used to it by now.
