Hillside Pharmacy College

Hillside Pharmacy College is located at No. 9, Raghuvanahalli Gubbalala Cross, right on the Kanakapura Main Road in Bengaluru. If you’ve ever driven down that road, you know how hectic the traffic can be. Our building stands there amongst the shops and other businesses. It’s a place for students who want to get into the pharmaceutical world. We have labs that are filled with glass jars and various equipment for experiments. The classrooms are basic with wooden benches and whiteboards that have seen better days. Students come from different parts of Karnataka to study here, and some stay in the hostels nearby. The atmosphere is usually quite serious because the subjects are tough. We don't have any polished marketing slogans or a glossy corporate image. We are just a college where people come to learn a trade. The instructors have been teaching for a long time and they know their stuff, even if they aren't always the most patient. The daily routine is pretty fixed with lectures starting early in the morning. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in, which is just part of living in Bengaluru. We are a functional institution that focuses on the practical side of pharmacy. People know us because of our location on the main road and the years we’ve been operating here. It’s a straightforward place for education. There is always something to do, whether it’s cleaning the lab equipment or organizing the office files. We just keep going.
