Hideout Restaurant

We opened Hideout Restaurant right here in Bellandur Balaji Industrial Estate 13 a few years ago. It’s a busy part of town with all the workshops and offices around us. Every morning starts the same way with the shutters going up and the smell of the first pot of tea brewing. The kitchen is small, so we all have to watch our elbows when it gets busy during the peak hours. We’ve got these wooden tables that have seen better days, but they do the job for our customers. You can hear the noise from the industrial estate all day long, trucks backing up and people shouting across the street. It’s not a quiet place, but it feels alive and energetic. Most of our regulars work nearby and they usually just want their food fast so they can get back to their shifts on time. We don't have any fancy menus or uniforms. It's just me and a couple of guys in the back making sure everything stays clean and the stoves are running properly. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just have to wait it out with some candles or flashlights. It’s just part of being in this industrial area. We spend a lot of time sweeping up the dust that blows in from the main street. It’s hard work, but we like seeing the same people every day. If you walk past number 13, you’ll probably see one of us sitting outside on a crate during a quick break. It's just a simple shop.
