Hema Alloysius Foundation

We have been here at number 13 in B Narayanapura for a good while now. The 560016 area in Bangalore is always pretty busy, so there is usually something going on right outside our door. Hema Alloysius Foundation is just a few people working out of this small space. It is not a big fancy office or anything like that. We mostly just deal with the daily tasks that come our way. The building is easy enough to find if you know the neighborhood. Sometimes the traffic on the main road makes it a bit hard to get here on time, but that is just how things go in this part of town. We spend a lot of time sitting around the main table going over paperwork and talking to folks who happen to stop by. There is not much in the way of decoration here, just the usual desks and a few chairs. We have a small kettle for tea which gets used a lot during those rainy afternoons. It is a very simple setup. Most of us live quite nearby, so the commute is not too bad unless it really starts to pour. We do not even have a big sign out front, just the address on the wall. People find us mostly by looking at the door number or asking around. We try to keep things organized, but it gets a bit cluttered with all the files. It feels like a real place where work happens.
