Hegde Driving School

We've been here at Vinayaka Building on Sampige Road for quite a while now. Most people in the neighborhood know where we are, right near the busy stretch of Malleshwaram. Learning to drive in Bangalore isn't exactly a walk in the park with all the traffic and narrow lanes, but that is what we do every day. It's usually a mix of nervous beginners and people just trying to get their license sorted out. The office isn't anything fancy, just a few chairs and some charts on the wall. We spend most of our time out on the road anyway. You might see our cars going around the block early in the morning before the rush starts. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we usually take a bit of a break then. We try to keep things simple. If someone is struggling with the clutch or getting stressed about reversing, we just take it slow. Sometimes the cars need a bit of work because they get used so much, so there's always something to fix. It's a small team here, just a couple of us who know the local roads well. We've seen the city change a lot over the years from this spot. People come in, they learn, they move on. That's just how it goes here in 560003. Nothing too complicated about it. We're just here doing our job and helping folks get behind the wheel safely without too much fuss.
