Harish Medicare Centre

Our centre is situated at No.17/46 on the Service Road in Vijayanagar. Being on the service road makes it a bit different from being on the main highway, but it’s still very busy. We are right opposite the BMTC Bus Depot, which is probably the biggest landmark anyone could ask for. There are buses coming and going at all hours, so there is always a lot of noise and movement outside our windows. People are constantly walking past on their way to catch a bus or heading home from work. Inside, we just handle the medicare side of things. It’s a lot of patients coming in for various reasons, and we try to see them in the order they arrive. The waiting room gets a lot of light in the morning from the windows facing the road. We have the usual stuff you’d find in a clinic—files, medical equipment, and some old magazines on the table. It’s not a fancy setup by any means. We’ve been at this Vijayanagar location for quite some time, so we’re used to the dust and the sounds of the bus engines. Most of the people who come to us live nearby or work at the depot. It’s just a practical place to get checked out. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing every single day.
