If you ever come down to S P Road, you know how crowded it gets with all the shops and people moving everywhere. We are located in the Shreyas Complex, specifically at F3 on Alur Venkata Rao Road. It’s tucked away in a corner near G R Lane, so it stays a bit quieter than the main road sometimes. We deal with all kinds of tools and equipment every day. The shop isn't very big, so we have to stack things pretty high up to the ceiling. It can be a bit of a puzzle trying to get a specific box down from the top shelf when a customer is waiting. My father started this place years ago and not much has changed since then. We still use the same old wooden desk and the drawers are a bit stuck from the humidity. Dealing with suppliers takes up most of my morning, and then the afternoon is just people coming in asking for specific parts. Some of the stuff we sell is quite heavy, so our backs usually hurt by the end of the week. We try to keep things organized, but it’s hard when new shipments arrive every other day. You get used to the noise of the city after a while. We drink a lot of coffee from the stall down the street to keep going. It’s a decent living and we like being part of this market.
