Hard Rock

Our place is located on St Marks Road, right in Jawahar Nagar 40. It’s a busy stretch of road and there is always something going on outside the windows. We’ve been at this address for a while now, watching the shops around us change every couple of years. The building is solid, though the walls could use a fresh coat of paint if we ever found the time. We start our shift by checking the lights and making sure the floor is swept. St Marks Road gets a lot of foot traffic, especially in the evenings when people are finished with work. We see the same faces walking by Jawahar Nagar 40 every day. It’s a big space inside, which means a lot of walking back and forth for the staff. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just come in, turn on the equipment, and wait for the day to start. The air conditioning is a bit loud sometimes, but it beats the heat outside. We keep our supplies in the basement, which is a bit of a trek down the stairs. Working here at Hard Rock means dealing with the constant noise of the city. You get used to the sirens and the buses after a week or two. We just try to keep things moving smoothly. It’s a straightforward job in a straightforward part of town. Most days are just about keeping the rhythm going.
