Our place, G.W. Precision Tools India P Ltd., is situated at 124 A in the Bommasandra Industrial Area. This is part of Anekal Taluk, out on the outskirts where all the big manufacturing plants are located. We focus on making tools that need to be made exactly right. The machines we use every day are pretty technical, so the shop floor is usually a mix of high-tech sounds and the smell of cooling oil from the lathes. Being in Bommasandra means we are surrounded by other huge factories. It is an industrial life through and through for us. We don't have a big fancy lobby or a waiting room for guests. Instead, we just have workbenches and a lot of calibration equipment. Our team is mostly focused on the technical side of the parts we make. The roads out here in Anekal can be a bit rough and dusty, but the space we have is good for the work we do. We spend a lot of time checking measurements over and over. It is tedious work sometimes, but it is necessary for the tools we produce. We have our daily routines, from the morning tea to the final checks before we lock up the gates. The building itself is just a standard industrial unit, nothing very special to look at from the outside. Inside is where all the real work happens. We’ve been here for many years and have seen the area change.
