Peenya is a massive industrial area. It can be a bit overwhelming if you aren't used to it. We are tucked away in the Third Stage at A-30. If you know Bangalore, you know how hectic the traffic gets around here with all the trucks and workers. We’ve been at this spot for quite a long time now. Grantools is the name on the gate, but most people just know us as the tool shop on the corner. The work we do isn't something most people would find interesting unless they are in the industry. We have a few staff members who have been here since the doors first opened. They know exactly where every single piece of equipment is kept, even if the shelves look a bit cluttered. Our office is small and usually has stacks of old ledgers and papers everywhere. We don't really do much on the internet or social media. Most of our work comes from people just knowing that we are here and that we do the job. The roads around the estate can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we usually hang around for a bit after finishing just to let the crowds thin out. It gives us time to tidy up the workspace for the next morning. We aren't doing anything groundbreaking. We just want to make sure the stuff we produce is solid and reliable. It’s just a normal Indian engineering shop.
