Our workshop is Grantools, and we are situated at A-30 in the 3rd Stage of Peenya Industrial Area. Like most places around here, it’s all about the tools and the grit. We’ve been operating from this same building in Bengaluru for years. It’s a place where you can hear the sound of metal being worked on from the moment you turn the corner. We make and fix tools for various industrial uses. The floor is always covered in a bit of oil and metal shavings, which is just how a real workshop should look. We have some heavy machinery that’s been with us for a long time, and we know exactly how to get the best out of it. It’s not a place for suits and ties. We wear our work gear and we stay busy. Peenya 3rd Stage is a hub for this kind of thing, so we fit right in with the other tool shops. Sometimes we have a chat with the guys from the next unit over while we're waiting for a delivery. We don't have a fancy mission statement or a big philosophy. We just take the orders, do the work, and make sure it’s done right before it leaves the door. The days can be long, but there’s a sense of satisfaction in finishing a difficult job. It’s a straightforward, honest way to make a living. You’ll usually find us here early in the morning, getting the machines warmed up for the day’s production.
