We spend a lot of time at 21/1 Cottonpet, tucked in the Rajanna Building near the Maharshi Aravinda Bhavan Annexe. It’s a busy spot. Most days start early here because there is always something to move or organize with the brushes. The space isn’t huge but it fits what we do. People come by Cottonpet for all sorts of things, and we’ve been here for a while now. Some days it gets quite dusty with the materials we handle. We just get on with the work. The address sounds a bit long when you say it out loud, but once you find the Annexe Road, it’s pretty straightforward. It’s mostly about keeping the stock moving and making sure the counts are right. We deal with various types of brushes for different needs. It is just a regular workplace where we spend most of our waking hours. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud, especially near the main building entrance. We don’t have much fancy stuff here, just the desks, the storage racks, and the inventory. It feels like a second home to most of us by now. We know the neighbors and the local tea stall. It’s a simple setup at Granito Brushes Pvt Ltd and we like it that way. No big corporate meetings, just sorting out orders and checking the brushes as they go out. It gets the job done and keeps us busy every day of the week.
