Govt College Of Pharmacy

Located right near the Sibaiya Circle on Mission Road, the Govt College of Pharmacy is one of those older, established institutions you find in Bengaluru. It’s a very busy part of the city, in the 560027 zip code, with constant traffic and people heading toward the main markets. The building has that typical government look, with some old paint and high ceilings, but it’s a sturdy place that has been here for a long time. Inside, the air usually smells like chemicals and old library books. We have various labs filled with glass beakers, old scales, and different powders where the students spend their afternoons learning how to mix medicines properly. It isn't the most modern or high-tech facility you'll see in Bengaluru, but it has all the basic equipment needed for the pharmacy course. Students are always moving around in their white lab coats, carrying files between the library and the practical rooms. The stone stairs are worn down in the middle from decades of students rushing up and down them. We have a lot of administrative paperwork to deal with, so the main office is usually cluttered with stacks of files and ledgers. There’s a small patch of grass out front with a few trees, but it's mostly just a place for students to stand and talk. It’s a serious place of study where the focus is on the work, not on making things look fancy for visitors.
