Government Ramanarayana Chellaram College Of Commerce

This is the Government Ramanarayana Chellaram College Of Commerce, and we are located right on Nrupathunga Road in the heart of Bangalore. Most people just call us RC College. Our building is quite old and has that classic government look to it. We even have some parts in the basement and along the main road where the offices are. Being in the center of the city means the traffic outside is always crawling. You can hear the buses and the horns all day long from the classrooms. We have thousands of commerce students here, so the hallways are almost always crowded. It’s a busy place with a lot of movement. We don't have the fancy glass buildings like the IT companies in Bangalore. Our walls are thick and the wooden benches have been here for decades. The office staff deals with a mountain of paperwork every day because it's a government institution. We follow the rules and the university schedule. Students come from all over the city because it’s a central spot and easy to reach by bus. We have a small canteen and some open spaces where students hang out between classes. It’s a very typical Bangalore college experience without any of the polished marketing you see nowadays. We just open the doors and get to the business of teaching commerce. There is always a lot going on with admissions and exams, so we stay busy from morning till evening.
