It's been a while since we set up here in Rabrindranath Tagore Nagar. If you look for the Ing Vysya Bank, we are right there nearby. People usually come in looking for a specific bolt or maybe a bucket of paint because their walls look a bit tired. We spend most of our mornings just moving things around and making sure we have enough stock on the shelves. Sometimes it gets dusty inside with all the hardware, but that is just how it is. We try to keep a bit of everything because you never know what someone might need for a quick fix at home. My hands are usually covered in some kind of dust or paint stain by the afternoon. It is a small space but we make it work. Most of our regulars live just around the corner, so we see the same faces quite a bit. We are not some big modern showroom or anything like that. Just a regular shop with shelves full of tools and tins. Sometimes the delivery truck comes late and we have to wait around. It is part of the daily routine here at 41275. We just open up early and stay until the evening. There is always a lot to do, like checking the inventory or helping someone find the right size of screw. It keeps us busy enough for the whole day and we don't mind the work.
