This hospital and nursing ashram is located over in Bendrenagar, specifically at 20, 13th Cross. It’s near Kaderanahalli Circle, which is always a bit of a mess with traffic and noise, but once you turn onto Banashankari 1st Main Road and find our street, it gets much calmer. Goldage Hospital Home Nursing Ashram is a place where a lot is happening behind the scenes. We are constantly moving around, checking on people and making sure the daily chores are finished. The building has been here for some time and it feels like a part of the local scenery now. We have residents and patients who have been with us through different seasons. The 560050 area is a mix of old houses and new shops popping up. Our daily routine starts quite early, usually before the sun is fully up, getting things organized. It’s not a shiny, glass-fronted corporate hospital; it’s more of a home-like environment because that’s what works for nursing care. We deal with a lot of paperwork and phone calls throughout the day. The staff mostly talks about what needs to be done for the next shift and who needs what. Sometimes we sit out in the small open area when the weather is nice in the evenings.
