If you are walking near the Shiva Temple in Naganathapura, you will likely see our cars moving slowly around the corners. We are located at No 26 on the 7th Cross, right on Karnataka Ceramic Road. It is a pretty hectic spot for driving, but that is actually helpful for the learners since they get to experience real Bangalore traffic right from the start. We have a few older cars that we use for the daily lessons. The steering wheels are worn down from so many different people gripping them. Most of our days start early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. We sit in the small office and wait for the students to arrive for their scheduled times. Sometimes they are late because the buses are stuck, and we just sit and talk about the local news while we wait. The road right outside our door has its fair share of potholes, so that is usually the first lesson for everyone. It is not a big corporate business at all. It is just a few of us helping the neighbors and young people from the nearby streets get their licenses. We spend most of our hours in the passenger seat with our foot near the extra brake pedal we put in. The temple bells ring in the background during the mornings, which is a nice sound to hear while someone is trying to figure out the clutch.
