You can find us on the busy Bannarghatta Main Road, right across from the Dominos Pizza in Arekere. It’s a very easy landmark to give people because everyone knows where the pizza place is. Our shop is filled from floor to ceiling with all sorts of hardware and power tools. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes, especially when we get a fresh shipment in and have to find room for all the boxes. We’ve been at this location for a while now, watching the traffic grow heavier and the buildings get taller. Most of our customers are locals who are fixing something at home or contractors who need a specific tool for a job nearby. We don't do much in the way of advertising; we just rely on people seeing our sign as they drive past. The dust from the road is a constant battle, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the shelves and sweeping the floor. It’s a straightforward business. We sell what people need and try to keep the most common items in stock. There’s no corporate hierarchy here. You just talk to whoever is behind the counter. Sometimes we have a coffee and chat with the regular customers who’ve been coming here for years. It’s a noisy, busy spot, but it’s our spot, and we like being right in the middle of all the action on the main road. It gets hectic around five in the evening, but that is just part of it.
