Girls Higher Secondary School Akodiya

We are based at No.1123, 6th Block on 1st Main in Hmt Layout. This is right in the heart of Vidyaranyapura, Bangalore. The school is known as Girls Higher Secondary School Akodiya. It’s a solid building that has seen many groups of students come and go over the years. Being a higher secondary school, we deal with the older girls who are preparing for their big exams. The pressure can get a bit high around here during February and March. The classrooms are filled with rows of wooden desks that have probably been there since the school opened. We don't have fancy air conditioning or anything like that. We just open the windows and let the Bangalore breeze in, though sometimes it brings in the dust from the street. The 6th block is a fairly busy area, so there’s always something happening outside our gates. Our teachers are usually busy preparing lesson plans or marking assignments in the small staff room we have. It’s a bit cramped in there, but we manage. We don’t put on any airs about being a top-tier academy. We are just a local school providing a place for girls to get their education. It’s a lot of hard work and not much glamour, but that’s how we like it. We just stick to our daily schedule and keep things moving for the students.
